The objective of Microbia Environnement is to provide public and private water economy players with its expertise in environmental microbiology and its innovative technology to improve current HAB monitoring programs.  

Spin-off from the Pierre & Marie Curie University, the young company has been hosted by the Oceanographic Observatory of Banyuls-sur-Mer where it benefited of the Bio2Mar platform for 7 years to produce its biosensors and built a service platform. Now located in Argelès-sur-mer within the Business incubator LE CAP, Microbia Environnement acquired its own laboratory and offices to pursue the journey and commercialize its technology.

Committed to support innovation in environnemental sciences, Microbia Environnement is maintaining a strong link with the research field through partnerships and collaborations. Creating new molecular tools, increasing their performance, and making them available anywhere is a challenge but probably the unique solution to current and future threats of the water resource.
